| The division undertakes impact assessment/evaluation of microfinance, micro-enterprise and other livelihoods programmes. Impact monitoring and assessment is central to development. It addresses questions of what is being achieved, who benefits and how. Research & Impact Assessment division covers specific programmes for NGOs and financial institutions and helps organisations to develop their own assessment systems. It also assists larger programmes (multi-lateral donor organisations and governments) to provide wider-scale assessments across projects and regions. |
